A cask is ready when it’s ready. Sometimes, it takes several decades for the spirit inside to reach its peak. And sometimes, it only takes a few years. In the end, I don’t think that I could ever overstress the much-quoted statement that “age is just a number”. (more…)

Loch Lomond 12yo from a Pineau des Charentes Hogshead (Review)
